“Creativity, Technology and Vocational Training
for the territory of Siena”
ARSNOVA, Academy for Multimedia Arts, was
founded in the year 2000 with the aim of collecting
cross-cutting cultures in the technical and creative
fields. This includes: architecture, design, graphics,
television programmes, the web and artistic performances.
The Academy is a place of learning while doing,
free from encumbrances, similar to the ancient workshops.
The main goal is to serve the territory and especially
the town of Siena, which is the principal workroom
and stage for the didactic and training activities.
Specific Master Courses are organized as tools to
face the needs and to develop the resources of Siena.
The ultimate aim of Arsnova is to create a hub (training,
consulting, production, start up) and to integrate
it in the productive and institutional situation
of Siena. Arsnova has several partnerships, such
as the City Hall of Siena, the Bank of Monte dei
Paschi and the University of Siena.
