Profile:
- 1954 Guido Bombagli was born in Chianciano
Terme (Siena)
- 1991 He holds a degree as architect in urban
and regional planning in the University of Studies
of Rome.
- 1974 He has started to work in the father’s
building firm.
- 1979 He has won the first public competition
announced by the bank Monte dei Paschi of Siena
where he works until the 1986, during these
years he is concerned in bankers union.
- 1986 He has won the first public competition
announced by the Chianciano Terme City Hall,
he carries out many activities in the public
works, in private building and city planning,
- 1995 he has been elected town councillor of
the province of Siena with competences relatives
to: territorial planning, civil defence, environmental
protection, water resources, protection of the
soil of the informative and statistics system.
- 1999 he has been reconfirmed town councillor
of the province of Siena with competences relatives
to: territorial planning, public local transport,
informative and statistics system.
- 2002 he has been eleected president of the
association Terrecablate Telecommunications.
Presentation:
“The territory mission of a broad band network”
The association Terrecablate Telecommunications
was founded in the April 2002 among the province
of Siena and the villages around Siena.
Purposes
The Terrecablate target is the development, in the
territory of the Province of Siena , of the functions
and of the management of:
• Study and research, in the territory, of
the informatics and telematics technologies
• Planning, realization and management of
the telecommunication network
infrastructure (TLC), Promotion, planning realization
and management of TLC services for private and public
bodies, enterprises, associations, citizen
Terrecablate mission
• To install optical fibres in the all territory
• to become the leader operator to supply
in the wide broad network of TLC, IP
(internet), TV and multimedia in the all territory
of the Province of Siena.
• To be in a position to satisfy the more
advanced customer requests
Terrecablate vision
• The wide broad network realization has a
strategic capacity for the all territory of the
province and for all social, economic and cultural
components.
• The access to the information technology
represents today a new right of citizenship
that the public administration must guarantee, also
with direct investments where the
market isn’t atumatically present.
