LORIS CECCHINI  HAS PAINTED THE BANNER FOR THE PALIO OF SEPTEMBER 9TH, 2000

Loris Cecchini was born in 1969 in Milan, he graduated from the Art Institute of Siena, frequented the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence and  then finished is education at the Academy of Brera in Milano.

His artistic language uses methods and diverse instruments to arrive at a process/work whose representative characteristics are based on interactive multimedia. His conception of reality is the fruit of a formulation of real technical codes and the work that originates is like a suspended animation that captures the eye from its inner deep.

Like a game, he creates scenes and choreographies where he enters his characters, figures, symbols: a childhood world, transported by the artist into the present, where he reinvents and transforms it to his will.

And here Cecchini gives life to stories of images, digital photographs, soft sculptures:  imagination is on stage and art becomes communication.

Among the numerous expositions of the young man and already affirmed artist, we record the expositions at the Max Estrella Gallery of Madrid, at the Galego Center of Contemporary Art in Santiago of Compostela (Spain), at the Italian Institute of Culture of Cologne, at the Claudia Gian Ferrari Gallery of Contemporary Art and at the Bordone Gallery in Milan.

In the collective art-exhibitions he was personally present, recently, at the Biennial Exhibition of Taiwan, at the Contemporary Art Center Luigi Pecci of Prato, and in the major Italian and European cities: Paris, London, Berlin, Turin, Mantua, Rome.
