Two men on their deathbed: a politician and a clown.
Both reflect upon their lives, both with the same regrets: they had let love go during their youth, they had let it slip away through their fingers entwined with life and ideals.
The moment they are called to take stock of their situation, there are only the demons of their regrets in their minds. There is no fear, nor anxiety, there is no oppression for death, there is not the humidity of the agony.
Only melancholy accompanies them, the melancholy for those eyes they did not have the courage to comfort, for those eyes that only wanted to be looked at, for those eyes that would have wanted to be the last thing to be looked at. What would be better now but to hand in a drop of splendour to death? What would be better now to redeem a life? What would be better now than a little bit of love?
The demons which crowd these two men's minds will dance on stage. The fears, the hopes, trust and finally love, love which everything hopes, love which conquers all, love to which all the world every day kneels to in admiration.
There are five male dancers dancing break dance, hip-hop and contemporary dance. A show lasting an hour in which dance is the true protagonist of the scene.
Never becoming "athletic", in Homme the technique becomes pure virtuosity.
With music by Mozart, Vivaldi but also by Chemical Brothers and Capossela, elaborated by Enzo Celli, the five dancers will give life to an intense, spare, intimate show which is also thrilling and gripping, just like the choreographer's style.
The physicality remains one of the characterisitcs of this production, virtuosity is inserted nearly as a narrative element, in which the extreme gesture becomes dramaturgy, an intense, intimate language
