The Jazz Music Sienese Seminars are international courses of specialization and high musical qualification. Participating in these courses are two hundred selected students. Participating as teachers are thirty-one musicians considered amongst the mostprestigious concert artists and teachers in our country. The organization of the seminar is unique of its kind in Europe in the quality and quantity of the courses carried out. In fact, 84 courses will be carried out amongst which 42 musical workshops; there is first-class equipment, computerized music archives and a library for the students' and teachers' use; innovative programmes and subjects are carried out with didactic interconnections among contemporary jazz tradition and cultures. The seminar has been judged by critics as being a unique ensemble of creativity and professional competence of its kind in Europe.
